Engines

How to choose?

The + of the petrol engine:

Air cooling makes the engine lighter and less bulky.Very economical to purchase and with a relatively light weight, the petrol engine adapts easily to applications. Many manufacturers of construction equipment, motoculture and forestry make the choice of the more ecological petrol engine!

The criteria for choosing your engine?

0
Determine the maximum power required for your application:

Power values are expressed in horsepower [HP] or kilowatt [kW] or horse [CV].

The power is defined by the engine torque (expressed in newton-meter [Nm]) and the engine speed (expressed in revolutions per minute [rpm]).

It is therefore necessary to refer to the performance curve of each model of our range

Note that 1 HP = 0.736 kW = 0.98 HP

0
The displacement of your engine is expressed in [cm3]

It should be noted that the total engine displacement corresponds to the volume of each cylinder

A single-cylinder engine develops all its torque at medium speed while the twin-cylinder engines develop at low and high speed.

Note that single-cylinder engines perform in terms of consumption and reduction of polluting emissions

0
Which shaft (PTO)?

There are two different outputs of the motor axis: vertical or horizontal.

You can choose 5 types of tree outputs:

DL: Cylindrical collated in mm

DU: Collated Cylindrical Inch (SAE)

DH: generator set version

0
Choice of filtration

Foam filter: easy and economical maintenance

DUAL filter: severe environment

Low filter: recommended for application with separate tank

Oil bath filter: very dusty environment

Some precautions for optimal use of the engine:

  • Ensure good ventilation for best performance.
  • Run your engine outdoors to avoid poisoning.
  • Follow the recommendations in the maintenance manual to increase longevity
