WORMS ENTRPRISES is committed to the environment

model in which nothing is lost and everything is transformed. Instead of being thrown away and eliminated, the products we consume once again become raw materials and are reintroduced into the economic circuit. As well as demonstrating our compliance with current and future legal and regulatory environmental requirements, our ambition is to strengthen our leadership and our employees’ commitment to environmental issues. We are also seeking to position our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) approach with our customers and partners.

Our primary objective is to control our environmental impact by reducing our energy consumption and managing our waste responsibly.

What are WEEE?

The environment code defines electrical and electronic equipment as being equipment “operating thanks to electric currents, as well as equipment for the production, transfer and measurement of these currents and fields, designed to be used at a voltage not not exceeding 1000 volts alternating current and 1500 volts direct current”. To comply with the regulations, WORMS Entreprises has joined an organization (Eco-Systèmes) and must invoice the ecotax on each sale. The ecotax is the responsibility of the end customer.

MENAGER

Since 15 August 2018, small generators (<7.5 kWe) have been subject to the ecotax. This concerns France and certain Dom – Com (Reunion, Martinique, Mayotte, Guyana, Saint Martin, Saint Pierre & Miquelon).

On the website, by entering the type of equipment, whether it works or not and your postcode, you will obtain the nearest collection points.

PROFESSIONEL

All other electrical machines are only required to make a tonnage declaration and take back end-of-life equipment.

Your approach to recycling your GE > 7.5 kWe Agros, Leader, Tristar 10500 / 12500, Silentstar 13000 and above, SS Light, Openstar, Electric pump ranges (PXL – PK – BHV).

Collection threshold: 1 standard minimum pallet of 120 x 80cm – equipment stored and shrink-wrapped on a standard pallet.
